In the entire region, from the Balkans to the Middle East and the Mediterranean Sea, the worrying and dangerous for the peoples developments intensify and intensify. The Western imperialist powers led by the US and the EU are in stark competition with the Russian imperialism for geopolitical sovereignty, for civilian control, for energy sources and pipelines in the countries of the region. Military forces are gathering, excuses of all kinds are being exacerbated at the expense of the countries and peoples of the region. The presence of the US 6th Fleet in the South East Region Mediterranean and Cyprus only concern can cause. This situation, and given the massacre that has taken place in the Balkans in a number of other countries and today in Syria and the Middle East, has already created negative data for the peoples. The ruling classes of the countries of the region for their own interests and reactive aspirations are moving within the framework of this imperialist competition and serving it. This enhances nationalism and chauvinism, hateful and irresistible sermons as the necessary tools for bringing the peoples into potential war-tuning adventures.
Our country is integrated into the military plans of the attacking countries. The SYRIZA-ANEL government has great responsibilities, because it engulfs the country even deeper into this bloodshed, hoping to win the US favor of upgrading its position in the region. It follows consistently the policy of the previous governments of ND and PASOK, acquitting US and EU murder policy. and granting facilities to the American Nato forces, turning our country into a war base, allowing the Aegean into a NATO operational base. At the same time, it is increasingly involved in dangerous competition with Turkey, involving multinationals, for oil and EEZ.
History shows that such plans with the losers of fire always come out from the peoples and win capital and multinationals and imperialists. Those who decide and order the wars, turning workers and youth into “cannon meat,” are the ones that impose the memorandums and impoverish the peoples. They are themselves industrialists and bankers, who want cheap and unprofitable workers, grabbing the houses of the poor by auctioning and seizing.
The labor movement, the workers, the people get the situation in their hands. Require the cease of bombings in Syria, the disengagement of the country from the imperialist war plans. To show solidarity to the people being tested. Fight to prevent war against the system that raises the war and the refugee.
We call all our colleagues in a hurry. We are fixing a wall of resistance to the bloody and ruthless plans of the imperialists.
